Why Hire a Professional?

Regularly cleaning dryer vents is an important part of routine home maintenance, and it’s recommended that dryer vents are professionally cleaned once per year. While it can be tempting to do it yourself, tackling your dirty dryer vent with a vacuum cleaner and calling it a day simply isn’t the best idea, even if your vent is short.

There are all sorts of DIY dryer vent cleaning products and accessories available, but most leave homeowners with a false sense of security that the job was done right, and the risk of fire has been prevented. Many DIY methods simply fail to remove all of the lint and debris, and there’s even a risk of inadvertently compacting the lint and causing a blockage that can’t be seen, which could then cause a fire.

Air Compressor Tools vs. Brushing tools

At Zarts, we use special air-powered tools for cleaning your dryer vents. Some other companies use brush tools which can clean out the lint and dirt, but they have a hard time getting around corners and can sometimes even jam up the vent.

When we clean your vents, we first check the back of your dryer to make sure everything's hooked up right. Then, we use our air tool to blast out any built-up lint or dirt. This tool can blow the air forwards or backwards, so it can clean out all the gunk no matter where it's lodged. Plus, we have a special air tool for older, fragile vents that might get damaged by a brush.

Why do some other companies use brushes instead of air tools? Well, brushes are cheaper and easier to carry around. But at Zarts, we believe that good tools make for a good cleaning job. If you want a quality cleaning, give us a call at (954)665-3617 to get a quote for your next cleaning job.

Services

Dryer Vent cleaning

We offer a service that checks the entire path of your dryer vent, from the laundry room to where it opens outside your house. We start the cleaning process at the dryer because that's usually where fire hazards begin. Depending on what your dryer line needs, we have different ways to clean it to make sure it's safe and working well.
